Thompson named LEL Wrestler of the Week

Junior Cleveland Heights Wrestler Darion Thompson was chosen as the LEL Wrestler of the Week.

Darion went 4-0 on the weekend at the Hawken HIT Tournament. He won an awesome overtime match against a kid from Brecksville to make it to the finals where he beat a very good wrestler from Willoughby South in the first period by pin.

Looking forward to seeing Darion in 2022 at the Lake Erie League Championship @ Maple Heights High School.
