LEL Student Athletes of the Week Announced

In this weeks LEL Student Athletes of the Week, three different schools have great exposure for their Students.

• Senior Forward Samone Whitt of Lorain had a great week as she had for the Lady Titans.
  • 25 Points total: 13 vs Firelands and 12 vs Maple
    38 rebounds: 19 vs Firelands and 19 vs Maple
    4 steals vs Firelands
    2 assists vs Maple
• Senior Boys Bowler Danny Bridgeforth of Bedford. This past week, Danny posted scores of 201 and 192 against Mentor, and then Bowled 190 and 234 against Eastlake North for an average of 204 for the week. Against North, he bowled three strikes in the Anchor spot of the last game to help us secure the win against North. We were tied going into the last two frames of the game and Danny did exactly what he needed to do in order to get us the win. This is the first time that we were able to beat both Eastlake North, and Willoughby South in the same season!
• Junior Point Guard Marcus Johnson of Garfield Heights. Marcus Average 32 points, 6 assists, 5 rebound (against Shaw twice and Shaker Heights).
