Gibson and Harvey claim LEL POW Honors

Both Avery Gibson (Shaw) and Bay Harvey (Cleveland Heights) have claimed the LEL Player of the Week Honors for Week 5.

Avery Gibson (Shaw) was able to improve his time for the past three weeks while racing some of the tough courses in North East Ohio.  Below are Avery’s Times:

  • 9/14/19 ran 40:25.17 at Forest Hills Park
  • 9/21/19 ran 40:00
  • 9/27/19 ran 36:30

Cutting nearly four minutes in two weeks is a tremendous accomplishment for Avery.

 

Bay Harvey (Cleveland Heights) was able to lead the Tigers to Victory on 9/20 as they defeated Lake Catholic 28-23.  Bay did it all on Friday with the following Stats:

  • Rushing 25/198 3 TD
  • Passing 8/15 115 yds

With the Help of Bay, Cleveland Heights is on a four game winning streak as they will travel to Lorain tonight in the first LEL League Game.
